Inspiration comes when one's mind is open to it and ready for it.
GENERAL INSPIRATION on BOOKS
1. ANASTASIA, written by Vladimir Megre. It consists of 9 books(The Ringing Cedars of Russia) about a woman who lives in Russian Taiga. Her ideas, perspectives on many things from our daily lives. It is "The Number One and the Best" in my book shelf. This book has inspired many people in the world and created the Anastasia Eco-Village movement in Russia and around the world.
2. ISMAEL, written by Daniel Quinn. It is about a conversation between a man and a gorilla. It touches all the way to human existence. To the point when Adam and Eve eat the apple. What that apple means actually.
3. A NEW EARTH, written by Eckhart Tolle. Eckhart Tolle has inspired millions to discover the freedom and joy of a life lived "in the now". In this book, Tolle expands on these powerful ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consiousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.
4. THE POWER OF NOW, written by Eckhart Tolle. A guide to spiritual enlightenment. To make the journey into The Power of Now we will need to leave our analytical mind and its false created self, the Ego, behind.
5. ANCIENT SECRET OF THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH, written by Peter Kelder. You will be introduced to ideas, techniques, and wisdom that can empower you, enhance your health and increase your joy of living.
6. AWARENESS, written by OSHO. The key to living in balance and insights for a new way of living.
7. COURAGE, written by OSHO. Courage is not the absence of fear, says OSHO. It is, rather, the total precense of fear, with the courage to face it. This book provides a bird's eye view, where fear fears originate, how to understand them, and how to find the courage to face them.
8. 10 BILLION, Stephen Emmott. He is the Head of Computational Science at Microsoft Research. He leads a broad research programme in Cambridge. He says about his book, "This book is about us. It's a book about you, your children, your parents, your friends. It's about everyone of us. It's about our failure: failure as individuals, the failure of business, and the failure of our politicians. It's about the unprecedented planetary emergency we've created. It's about the future of us." I recommend this book to you only for its facts and statistics but NOT for its conclusions. Mr Emmott is not calculating one aspect of human nature, which is the goodness in our souls.
9. SAVASCI(in English, Awakened Warrior), Dogan Cuceloglu. In English, "In a world, which is trying its best to make you indifferent, to be just yourself, is the most difficult war exists. When this war has started within you, it cannot be ended!...". In Turkish, "Seni digerlerinden farksiz yapmaya butun gucuyle gece gunduz calisan bir dunyada, kendin olarak kalabilmek, dunyanin en zor savasini vermek demektir. Bu savas bir basladimi, artik hic bitmez!..."
10. BUDDHIST BOOT CAMP, Timber Hawkeye offers a non-sectarian approach to being at peace with the world, both within and around us. His intention is to awaken, enlighten, enrich, and inspire. This book is wise, personal and also very funny. It lifted up my heart. Don't miss it.
11. THE TURNING POINT, Creating Resilience in a Time of Extremes, Gregg Braden:
Fact: We're living in a time of extremes. Fact: It makes sense to adapt to the new normal that's emerging, rather than cling to an idea of a world that no longer exists. Fact: We already have the solutionsto our biggest problems-they await the thinking that makes roomfor them in our lives. Fact: Nature gives us the turning points to shift life's extremes of struggle into life-affirming choices of resilience.
