groener dan grass project

Even in a busy city like Amsterdam, there are many unused and/or unproductive places. The ability to notice this places needs open mindedness and vision. The initiator, who lives close by the park has the drive to make a difference in his area. Groener Dan Grass project is one of the transformation activity in Amsterdam. It is currently planned to take part of an unused park(only dogs are happy to joyfully poe on the grass there) and change its surface to a productive, wildlife supporting and community building place.

The design includes Chessnut, Apple, Pear Trees, Hazelnut bushes, a few different Berry bushes, vegetable beds, communal gathering places and a small playground for the small children. My participation(apart from the design) is to implement the design with providing several workshops to local people with community building activities.
