A FARM FOR FUTURE(BBC Documentary): (from Permaculture Magazine) "In 2009, Rebecca Hosking and Tim Green made an hour long TV programme for BBC2 called 'A Farm For the Future' exploring how peak oil will effect farming and food distribution and why permaculture design, forest gardening and other regenerative agriculture practices could help us to cope with soaring fossil fuel prices that drive current agriculture practices which relies on fertlisers, mechanisation and distribution by transitioning to organic practices, diversifying yields and relocalising food supply. Millions of people watched the first screening – so much so that the BBC rescreened the film within weeks. There were countless requests for the BBC to release a DVD of the film from all over the world but sadly they declined to do so. We are therefore posting this version of what has become a turning point for permaculture in the mainstream media."
TRANSITION TOWNS Movement: "In Transition 2.0 is an inspirational immersion in the Transition movement, gathering stories from around the world of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. You'll hear about communities printing their own money, growing food, localising their economies and setting up community power stations. It's an idea that has gone viral, a social experiment that is about responding to uncertain times with solutions and optimism. In a world of increasing uncertainty, here is a story of hope, ingenuity and the power of growing vegetables in unexpected places"
Inspiration with Geoff Lawton: There is a line. It is dividing two different worlds. One is based on a fear, doubt, separation and the other world is open for anything and for your dreams. Geoff Lawton puts it in perfect speach how it works to cross the line.
"If you are not happy what is going on locally, somebody is going to get off their ass and change things and it is probably YOU!"

Sepp Holzer's Permaculture: Mr. Holzer is such a strong character and a visionary. Below video is a trailer for a DVD(Sepp Holzer's Permaculture from Ecofilm.de). I have got it at home and I have also visited Krameterhof. It is unique farm and its contrast with the surrounding farms is amazing. You can clearly see the dying monocultural forests and farms around Krameterhof and it is like a jewel in between them. Krameterhof shines as a Permaculture beacon in the area.

Why end of Growth can mean more happiness: Richard Heinberg - whose latest book describes The End of Growth- isn't looking for when the recession will end and we'll get back to "normal". He believes our decades-long era of growth was based on aberrant set of conditions- namely cheap oil, but also cheap minerals, cheap food, etc- and that looking ahead, we need to prepare for a "new normal".
GARBAGE WARRIOR: It is a video of a visionary person, an architect, Michael Reynolds. It is an incredible 40 years of triumph over bureaucracy.
